Santa Claus is Coming to Town...

December is here, which means that Christmas is just around the corner. This past week, we took Katarina to see Santa Claus. She had lots of fun seeing Santa. The first picture was done on Sunday, she was already dressed in her Sunday best, so we decided to get her picture done. The picture below is one with Elle, Hannah and Katarina. The girls had fun as you can see :-)

Home Sweet Home (Finally!)

Well everyone, we can finally say "Home Sweet Home". After months of waiting for our flooring to arrive, the laminate has finally been installed. Although Home Depot greatly disappointed us, the work that the laminate installer did was fabulous and greatly made up for what Home Depot lacked. We are now excited to show you some pics of our new home. We hope to of course, have you over to actually see our new place first hand. But in the mean time, please have a look at our new place! I'll be posting different rooms over the next few days, but for now, I've posted the den, living room and dining room. Oh and one more thing, the picture above is not our exact townhome, it's the town home two rows down, but exactly the same!
The tenants TV fit perfectly in the corner....
... but my desk fit even better!
Jonathan and I were amazed at how much the previous family could fit into their place!

Jonathan's part of then den...so clean right now! But who knows what it'll be later on. (Just teasing Jonathan).

Living Room

It's amazing what a little paint and new carpet can do to a place!

Larry, our realtor and I going over what needs to be done to this place if we bought it.
This how the place looked when the tenanats moved out of there....
No carpet thanks to Jonathan (who ripped it all out)!
This is the living room now, a bit messy at the moment, but will be cleaner once we're all settled in!

Dining Room

Here's are pictures of the area we now have as a dining room. The family that lived here before us, decided to use it as their "living area".

Comfy leather couches, but not in the right area of the home!
Amazing that Jonathan and I were able to look past the clutter!

Looks much bigger now that the couches and stuff was removed.
The dining room in the midst of renovating.

What the dining room looks like now. Amazing what laminate flooring can do huh? We love it!

Broccoli...not so good!

I told you I don't like broccoli!
Mom! How many times do I have to tell you? Ha ha ha!
Okay, I tried the Broccoli, not so good. But Mommy and Daddy gave me the bowl to play with since I did give it a good try!

A Swimming We Will Go...

This past Tuesday, Katarina and I went to her very first swimming lesson. Jacqueline and I both enrolled Elle and Katarina into the Starfish level at the Minoru Aquatic center here in Richmond. Katarina, along with Elle enjoyed the water very much. It was nice to take Katarina to the same place that I went and took swimming lessons as a child. The pool hasn't changed much, so it felt the same as when I was 9 years old. We unfortunately didn't get to take any pictures because my mom doesn't know how to work the camera, and my sister was off at school. But maybe one of these days we'll be able to get some good pics. So stay tuned for more pics of Katarina and her chubby self in the bathing suit she got from Grandpa.

I'm trying to do the front stroke, can't you tell?

Miss Universe pagent, here I come!

Trick or Treat!

Yes I know that Halloween has already come and gone, but I thought that I'd post these pics up of our adventures to the pumpkin patch. Well more pictures of us posing near the pumpkin patch. We decided to go on the weekend right before Halloween, it was fun for us and Katarina to go on a hay ride and sing along to the tunes. I'm trying to get her into singing :-) Unfortunately, because we picked a date so close to Halloween, there weren't any "nice" pumpkins in the actual patch, just mushed up ones. So to no avail we were disappointed, until the Pumpkin Princess waved her magic wand and gave all of us gigantic pumpkins. We ended up with 5 pumpkins, one for each of the adults. Jonathan and I took two home and my sister and Tyler took the other three. My sister drew the stencils and we carved away. Those who came to our door were impressed. I like to think that we did a good job! Jonathan and I had a good time handing out candy to the kids in our neighboorhood. I think that Jonathan was weirded out at the beginning because he was the "Dad" handing out candy, but he soon enjoyed it! It was cute to see all the costumes out there!
Me and Daddy right before walking over to the patch
Our pumpkins all carved nicely
Tyler, Mommy, Daddy, me and Lola. My Tita Jas is the one taking the pic
One happy family!
Do you like my pumpkins? I'll sell them to you for a good price!

Eating Solids for the First Time

On October 15th, Katarina had her first taste of solid food. In the morning before going to mass, we gave her Rice Cereal. At first Katarina was surprised by the new taste, but soon took a liking to it. To this day, she's scarfing down all sorts of solids, well except for broccoli (see the pics above).

Open wide Katarina!
What is this stuff you're giving me?
Hmm... not bad so far...
Yummy, yummy, yummy, I got love in my tummy!

Play time with Daddy

Mommy thinks I look like Daddy, what do you think?
Playing Peek-a-Boo with Daddy
Daddy makes me laugh!

My boyfriend's back....

My boyfriend Andrew came over for a visit.
I'm really beginning to enjoy this camera thing...
I wanna hold your hand...
Come on, give me some love!

Girlfriends are the Best!

In the past few weeks, I've had my girlfriends over to play with me. Hannah, Elle and I have had lots of fun. Just like our mommies, I know that we will be long time friends!

Tummy time with Hannah!
Sitting all by myself.

Just Relaxing!

My Mommy and me just lounging on the new carpet!
See, I'm so flexible that I can take my feet and lick my toes! (Well Mommy was too late to take the photo!)
Nothing like lounging around!
The aftermath of having yucky carrots that my Mommy made!
Carrots not so bad this time around!
Yummy yummy carrots!
