YAY!

Man alive, can time fly by any faster? As I looked at our blog and saw the comment by someone who likes to remind me to updaqte, I noticed that over a month has passed since the pics uploaded. In the time since the last blog update, life has changed for Jonathan. For those of you who have kept up to date with Jonathan's work life, know that in September he took the UFE (Uniform Financial Exam). For a good two and half months he's been waiting for the results. Well finallly on Friday the 30th, he and his fellow UFE writers found out. Jonathan PASSED :-) I couldn't be more proud of him. He has accomplised lots in the last 4 years and becoming a CA is icing on the cake (aside from being married to me of course!) Congratulations Jonathan!!!

As for Katarina and I, we have been busy too. Katarina's been busy learning new words and is beginning to put two words together. She's quite the chatter box. I've been busy working and learning lots of stuff in CCU. My belly is getting huge too! I'm at the 30th week, and will be ready to pop in about 10 weeks. Katarina is ready to be a big sister and keeps kissing my belly.

August Come and Gone

It's the end of August and here are pics of Katarina and her adventures through the past couple of months. As many of you know, Katarina will be a big sister in the month of February. She's already pointing to my belly when we ask her where the baby is. We believe she thinks the baby will come out of my belly button, if only!! ha ha ha.

Before the pics, we want to say congratulations to Kim-Anh and Michael, married July 21st; to Jenny and Paul, married July 28th and to Peter, Karen, Lorelei and Nolan who welcomed a health baby boy into this world on August 28th, just 4 minutes after his actually due date! Congrats to all of you!

Thirty Feels Good!

Well I have now turned thirty and as you can see by the pic, I was very scared! Just kidding! Turning thirty has been great thus far, I feel great!

On Saturday my sister and Jonathan surprised me with a trip up to Whistler. I didn't know what was going on until they told me that we were going to go Zip-trekking. This is something I've always wanted to do, but haven't had the chance because of motherhood. It was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it to everyone. I definitely conquered my fear of heights, well at least a little bit :-)

A big thank you to everyone who was able to make it up to Whistler. And a big thank you to all my family and friends who sent over birthday wishes, it made me so happy!!
